Sugli strumenti elettronici lo si schematizza in quattro fasi: ADSR: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release.
What is the ADSR envelope?
The dynamic envelope is the evolution of an instrument's volume from excitation to when the sound fades. A violin bow rises gradually; a snare hit is almost instantaneous. On electronic instruments it is schematised into four stages known as ADSR: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release.
