Cos'è il waveshaping?
Il waveshaping è una tecnica digitale che fa passare un segnale audio attraverso una funzione di trasferimento, una curva in tabella che mappa valori in ingresso (tra -1 e +1) su nuovi valori in uscita. La curva funziona come uno specchio deformante che modifica la forma dell'onda. È usato sia come sintesi (sinusoide in ingresso) sia come distorsore creativo (suono complesso).
